"Prisca Dorcas Mojica Rodriguez is the founder of Latina Rebels. She has written for different media outlets including The Huffington Post, TeleSUR English, Vivala and TruthOut. She an activist and the issues she encompasses her works on are the Latina embodiment, specifically “concerning the models of conquerable flesh around narratives of naturalization for women of color”. Her work especially embraces upholding embodied resistance, focusing on the chonga and chola subcultures. Some of her articles include, “My Struggle: Balancing Humility and Pride as a Latinx”, “I Don’t Need Anyone to Recolonize My Decolonized Body”, and “Dear Woke Brown Girl”.
